19.11.07: So we got some bad news!. As of today Ixl2 will no loner be in service as an IRC network
instead you are invited to join AtlanticIRC were you will find all the old Ixl2 staff! and new people. You can still use our web based java client found under the live chat menu placed about this post.

We would like to thank you all for your support over the years and hope too see you all at AtlanticIRC were you will find some games and the use of X.

    Thanks Ixl2 staff.

10.09.07: So Ixl2's testing of IRCu2 and GNUWorld services has ended, and has resulted in a new a new IRC network called AtlanticIRC which runs IRCu2 and GNUWorld services, for those who have no idea what they are all I can say is this:

"GNUWorld services is ChanServ and a sort of NickServ in a bot called X"

So what Im trying to say is every thing is done via X if you want to register your user name (note I have not said nick name!) you can by visiting the CService website. Ixl2 will not link or merge with the new network due to them both going in other directions from each other.
Hope to see you there soon Content.
Ixl2 still remains a charybdis IRC network and shall still remain linked to StaticBox.

26.08.07: So as you may have read on our blogg we can now offer IPv6 connections to our users! So if you want to use your IPv6 connection then this is the best time to do it cool You can find out how to connect to use using IPv6 our web based client which can be found by clicking the chat now button on the menu.
Hope to see you there soon Content.

25.08.07:  Hi, so as you may have seen already the blogg that Ixl2 had as it's main page has gone... well not really it's just we decided to move it to a subdomain and place this site in it's place. There also have been a number of changes to Ixl2 which we will keep you informed as and when these happen, one of which you will see right away wink.

As some of you know already we linked with Staticbox we still use charybdis, SASL and Atheme services for our network!, we are how ever looking into GNUWorld Services along with ircu2. What does all this mean? I hear you ask well... If we find the above services and IRCd to our liking we _may_ end up using them. If you wish to help us test these out your more then welcome too!. Just point your browser too: live.ixl2.org and point your IRC client to: box.ixl2.org.
Thats all we have time for right now keep watching this space for big changes to come soon!.
